Sony has announced the a7S III, its third-generation video-focused camera. In addition to its 12MP sensor it offers must faster processing, improved autofocus, 4K/120p video capture and the highest resolution EVF we've seen yet.
Panasonic has released the promised firmware update that adds Raw video output to the S1H. The update allows the camera to output 5.9K/29.97p and Super 35 format 4K/59.94p Raw video to Atomos Ninja V recorders. Support for 3.5K anamorphic capture is also included in the update.

Nikon has introduced the Z5, its entry-level full-frame camera that's priced at $1399. It offers most of the features of the more expensive Z6, which is a pleasant surprise given the difference in cost.
The Z Teleconverter TC-1.4x and TC-2.0x are weather-sealed and work with all focus points up to F11 on Nikon's mirrorless cameras. They are scheduled to arrive in August, selling for $550 and $600, respectively.
The Nikkor Z 24-50mm F4-6.3 is Nikon's smallest full-frame mirrorless lens yet. It will be kitted with the Z5 or sold separately for $400. Nikon also announced that the 70-200 F2.8 for Z-mount will be available late next month.
Just about every major camera manufacturer is getting in on the 'use your camera as a webcam' trend, and starting in August, Nikon shooters can join the fun.

Canon has officially released the long-awaited EOS R5, the company's top-end full-frame mirrorless camera. Featuring a new 45MP CMOS sensor, Dual Pixel AF II system, 8K video capture and 20 fps bursts, this is the RF-mount camera we've been waiting for.
Although the Canon EOS R6 doesn't have the 45MP sensor and 8K video capture of the higher-end R5, it's still an incredibly capable camera with specs that outshine similarly priced peers.
Canon's RF 85mm F2 Macro IS STM is an inexpensive telephoto prime lens with a minimum focus distance of just 0.35m (14") and a 0.5x magnification. When attached to the new R5 and R6, it offers a whopping eight stops of shake reduction.
Canon has announced a new small-footprint inkjet photo printer, the imageProGraf Pro-300. it will produce prints up to 13 x 19" and it goes on sale later this month for $900. A new textured photo paper will also arrive in July.
